The hotel is in Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, one of the most-loved by the Florentines, ancient religious and charity site that has kept its austere and spiritual charm over the centuries. The square is distinguished by the Spedale degli Innocenti, Renaissance architectural masterpiece by Brunelleschi, outstanding Florentine architect who created a colonnade, eternal example of harmony and balance. The Loggiato dei Serviti, which houses the Hotel Loggiato dei Serviti, facing and mirroring the proportions of the Spedale, was built at the beginning of the sixteenth century by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder, another Florentine master architect.
